Big new! Big surprise! Now, we can have Chanel’s new fall/winter 2009/2010 collection. Channeling the winter months, Chanel brings in heavy materials, tweed, and a splash of color with the perfect green and pink.
The leather shoulder strap on the green and pink tweed bags is a departure from the classic chain strap, yet I find myself wanting to see the tweed bag with a chain strap rather than smooth leather strap (like the last photo below). My pick for Fall/Winter is the Chanel Extra Large Tweed Flap with the chain shoulder strap. The tweed is reminiscent of Chanel classic suits as is the quilted finish and chain strap. There is also the classical flap with interlaced ribbons which continues to bring dimension to the bag while offering a horizontal pattern rather than the expected diagonal. Go and buy a Chanel 2009 bag right now!!!

Every woman wants to be known for her style, sophistication and innate sense of fashion whether she admits it or not. And if you have a Chanel Handbags hand bag on your arm then you will be well known without trying too! Chanel Handbags is one of the best known names in fashion. In general, I’ m an enormous fan of everyday objects turned into art objects. Celebrating the beauty in everyday, functional things is a worthwhile pursuit; the design equivalent to stopping to smell the roses. And perhaps if we begin to blur the line between beautiful things and functional things, we would end up with more things that are BOTH beautiful and functional, and then we all win. Taking pleasure in the everyday is nothing to sneeze at, after all.
Chanel’s contribution to this idea is their Spring/Summer 2009 Essential Handbag. Modeled after the iconic shopping bags of their 31, Rue Cambon flagship location in Paris, the bags are produced in smooth calfskin in Chanel’s signature palette of black, white and pale pink. They come in three sizes – small for $1525, which is the only of the three available pale pink, medium for $2625, and large in $2995. From the information that we received from Chanel, it’s unclear whether the small is also available in white and black – if you’re interested, a call to your local boutique may be warranted.

When mentioning Chanel, you may be a little unfamiliar, but I am sure you must have seen the signature “CC” monogram no matter on the designer clothes or designer bags. Yes, it is a renowned brand name. It has been proved that Chanel handbags have token its place in the field of high-end luxury fashion accessories items. It is just as prestigious as the well known Louis Vuitton Handbags. You may not know much about Chanel; now today let’s share Chanel together!
Coco Chanel wasn’t just a fashion designer-she was the very first fashion icon. The French born designer’s famous jersey-and-tweed suits closed the gap between male and female clothing and created a fashion that offered women both comfort and haute couture style. In a time when inequality ran rampant, Chanel took the reigns of feminism by the designer skirt hem by doing away with rigid corsets and cinched waists, in favor of pants and suit jackets for women- emerging as a pioneer for women’s fashion and women’s rights. Help! Security! Darth Lagerfeld is trying to kidnap Keira Knightley! Oh, wait – she’s laughing? Guess getting manhandled by Karl Lagerfeld is just one of the many perks of being a Chanel spokesmodel.
Now, about the clothes. Karl looks, well, pretty much the same as he always does, while Keira’s Chanel ensemble, a black top and patterned skirt accented by a fetching quilted black handbag, is pretty darn chic. Not feeling the new bangs, but I’m sure Karl can whip her up an amazing Chanel headband to see her through that painful growing-out period.
We continue to slog through the pictures taken in and around the recent MTV Movie Awards, and they’ve provided some interesting bags and people indeed. Stephanie Pratt isn’t a particularly interesting person by any stretch of the imagination, but her friend might be. I wouldn’t know, though, because I don’t know who she is, and neither did the agency that provided the photo. I do like her red Chanel Shoulder Bag, although I don’t think it’s a particularly good for the event or that it goes particularly well with her dress (I also don’t like her red shoes). So, two strikes against her, I suppose.
And a third strike goes to Stephanie – at least lay off the cigarette while you’re being photographed since you’ve been selling stories about health problems to tabloids recently. She also looks wasted, but, well, that happens to the best of us. We don’t have a good shot of her bag, although from what I can see of the closure, it might be Yves Saint Laurent. Either way, I’d have preferred that these two stayed home.
Blue Bentley? Check. Blue heels? Check. Blue cardigan? Check. Dress covered with galloping blue horses? Um, check. shows the world what it means to color coordinate as she arrives at the Ivy for a spot of lunch with her mom.
Swinging from her arm is the B. Fendi bag in white with a touch of (what else?) blue. While the whole presentation is very surreal to most of us and Paris herself is about as deep and intriguing as a reality show, she did manage to pull off a seriously cute, workable ensemble here. I’d rather the car over that outfit any day, though!
