If you haven’t yet checked out a Rebecca Minkoff handbag, you don’t know what you’re missing! Rebecca Minkoff is perhaps the hottest fashion designer to come along in a long time. Rebecca lived in obscurity until her big break back in 2001 shortly after 9/11. Rebecca’s family friend, Jenna Elfman appeared on The Tonight Show wearing an “I Love New York” shirt that Rebecca had designed for her. Jay asked Jenna about the shirt and the rest is history. Following that night Rebecca was so busy designing shirts that she had to quit her job and start her own line of clothing.
After initially designing clothing, Rebecca Minkoff transitioned into designing handbags at the request of again, Jenna Elfman. Rebecca agreed to make a bag for a movie that Jenna would star in and thus was born “The Morning After Bag”.
